Fanny (Corbeil Gauvreau) lives with her father, Hubert (Bruneau), a university professor obsessed with his research who never recovered from the death of his wife twelve years ago. Everything changes the day a family secret resurfaces. Fanny then embarks on a frantic quest to uncover the truth surrounding her mother’s death. How far will she be willing to go to understand what really happened?

Fanny vit avec son père Hubert, un universitaire obsédé par ses recherches qui ne s’est jamais remis du décès de son épouse 12 ans plus tôt. La vie de l’adolescente bascule le jour où un mystérieux secret de famille refait surface. Elle se lance alors dans une quête effrénée sur les traces de la vérité entourant le décès de sa mère. Ce drame, le troisième long métrage de fiction de Yan England, est inspiré des romans jeunesse Fanny Cloutier, de Stéphanie Lapointe, qui a signé le scénario du film.
