After a family tragedy, siblings Ella (Wright) and Charlie (Solis) are unexpectedly woken up by their dad and taken on a journey across the country, experiencing a world they’ve never seen before. As their adventure unfolds, Ella begins to understand that things might not be what they seem. Omaha screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and was up for the Grand Jury Prize. Lead actor John Magaro also stars in this year’s Cinéfest Official Selection Köln 75.

Après un drame familial, Ella et son frère Charlie sont soudainement réveillés par leur père qui les amène en voyage à travers le pays. Ils découvriront un monde jamais vu auparavant. Au fil de cette aventure, Ella commence à réaliser que certaines choses ne sont peut-être pas telles qu’elles le semblent de prime abord. Omaha a pris l’affiche au Sundance Film Festival plus tôt cette année, où il était en lice pour le grand prix du jury. John Magaro, qui interprète le rôle principal, est également en vedette dans le drame Köln 75, que présente Cinéfest cette année.
