In the Summers

Two sisters visit their loving but reckless father Vicente (Joglar) every summer. He creates a world of wonder but under the fun facade, he battles addiction which gradually erodes the magic, culminating in a devastating car accident. Vicente tries to make up for the past. But wounds aren’t easily healed. In the Summers is director Alessandra Lacorazza’s feature directorial debut and was winner of the Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Film at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

Il a mérité le grand prix du jury (meilleur film dramatique américain) au Sundance Film Festival en janvier.
