Union

The Amazon Labor Union (ALU)—a group of current and former Amazon workers in New York City’s Staten Island—takes on one of the world’s largest and most powerful companies in the fight to unionize. With no prior organizing experience, no institutional backing, and a small budget raised on GoFundMe, and highly unconventional strategies: from wearing Money Heist costumes at press conferences to distributing free marijuana, these ordinary workers turned organizers are determined to make history as the first Unionized Amazon workplace in America.
